SBEC International School teaches language arts through a carefully balanced and comprehensive program that combines a full and thorough training in phonics beginning in kindergarten while immersing students in a rich environment of books and literature, wherein children read and are read to, practice writing and generally enjoy being active readers and even authors themselves!

Our preschool program is designed to promote the social, physical, emotional and intellectual development of each child. While striving to encourage development in each curriculum area, our overlying concern is the child's development of a healthy self-esteem, which enables children to inquire, challenge, encourage, support and examine their immediate surroundings and the larger world around them.

We present our science instruction with a combination of hands-on experiments and discovery and follow up with independent and group oral and written activities.  In addition, our students attend two 2-week sessions in our science lab with our science specialist.  In these courses the students focus on experiential in-depth explorations of specific science topics.
